| The Army Acquisition Excellence (AAE) Award recognizes an Army acquisition workforce individual or team whose performance and contributions set them apart from their peers. The nominees will work at all levels, from senior management to newly hired interns. The award will directly reflect the outstanding achievements in support of the Soldier and the Army’s Business Transformation efforts.
Team award selections will be considered in each of three categories:
Equipping and Sustaining Our Soldiers’ Systems
Information Enabled Army
Transforming the Way We Do Business
Individual award selections will be considered in the following category:
Individual Sustained Achievement
The Call for Nominations application will be open from March 1 to April 26, 2011.

The completed nomination packets must be sent through command channels and then submitted to USAASC using the Web-based application.
