The Army Acquisition Corps Noncommissioned Officer (MOS 51C) performs and provides specified and critical elements of the acquisition and contracting process in support of deployments, combat operations, joint operations, exercises, contingencies and sustainment operations.
Their primary mission is to deploy as a warranted contracting officer and serve as a member of the Early Entry Module (EEM) contingency contracting staff or team. The 51C NCO will also support the Army Service Component Commander’s theater-wide contracting mission with a contracting warrant in any area of responsibility or theater of operations.
To ensure a trained and professional workforce, the U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center DACM Office serves as the career management proponent for all enlisted 51C NCOs.
