USAR MOS 51C NOC Reclassification Board Results from 19-23 March ‘12 Board

1. The U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center (USAASC) in conjunction with the USAR convened the USAR MOS 51C Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) reclassification board from 19-23 March 2012. It was administered by the Reserve Components Acquisition Proponent Office in conjunction with the 51C Proponent. The reclassification board consisted of MOS and/or branch certified members from the U.S. Army Reserve currently serving within acquisition (contracting) critical and/or key leadership billets. Those candidates selected to enter the 51C MOS NCO reclassification process are listed below.

This board ensures selection of the best qualified NCOs for reclassification into Military Occupational Specialty 51C (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Contracting NCO), which is part of the Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce. The 51C NCOs primary mission is to deploy as contingency contracting officers and serve as members of the deployed contingency contracting team. When not deployed, NCOs can and may serve as contingency contracting officers in support of Headquarters, Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting (PARC), Contracting Support Brigades, Contingency Contracting Battalions, and/or Installation Contracting Offices for training and mission support.
