The Talent Management Board of Directors met Feb. 24 and recommended the FY17 product director (GS-14) and FY17 project director (GS-15) slate for approval by the Army Director, Acquisition Career Management (DACM). Tentative slating is scheduled for release in mid-March. There are 15 product director positions and one project director position for FY17. CAPPMIS will only capture ethics completion if an AAW professional has either CLM 003, ETH003, MAN-ETH16, 2016 Acquisition Ethics, or the word “Ethics” in the course title from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2016. Less than 30 days remain to ensure the AAW meets this Office of the Secretary of Defense mandate. FROM THE ARMY DACM OFFICE SRPE MANDATE On Nov. 1, Phase II of the Army DACM Senior Rater Potential Evaluation (SRPE) mandate went into effect across the Army acquisition enterprise for all Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW) members who are equivalent in pay to a GS-13 or GS-14. The effective dates remain as Oct. 1, 2015, through Sept. 30, 2016. The SRPE should not to be confused with your annual performance evaluation. FROM THE ARMY DACM OFFICE ANNUAL ETHICS TRAINING REQUIREMENT There are fewer than 90 calendar days for you to complete the annual ethics requirement mandated for the Defense Acquisition Workforce. There are a few ways to complete this training: 1. Take one of the two online courses available through the iCatalog. The available courses are CLM 003 (Overview of Acquisition Ethics) and HBS 415 (Ethics at Work).
