FROM THE ARMY DACM OFFICE We are now in the last quarter of FY16, which means there are less than three months to the end of the two-year cycle in which Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW) professionals must finish the requirement to complete 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs). The deadline is Sept. 30. If you have questions about the requirement, please ask your supervisor or your organizational acquisition point of contact. Hot Topic #1: 2014 Chief Developmental Tester KLP Joint Qualification Board Army Selectees The Joint Qualification Board is a new concept to prequalify personnel as ready to fill a key leadership position (KLP) so that when a position is announced for hire or selection, there will be qualified candidates at the ready. Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (USD(AT&L)) Frank Kendall identified the chief developmental tester KLP as the first KLP to pilot the Joint Qualification Board process.
