(Feb. 26, 2015)—Fourteen candidates from the Army Acquisition Corps were selected from the first-ever product director centralized selection board held Dec. 4-5, 2014, at Fort Knox, Kentucky. A talent management board of directors met Feb. 6 to approve the positions for the newly-selected product directors. Lt. Gen. Michael E. Williamson, Army director, Acquisition Career Management (DACM), presided over the board consisting of Mr. Craig A. Spisak, deputy Army DACM and the 12 program executive officers. Hot Topic #1: 2014 Chief Developmental Tester KLP Joint Qualification Board Army Selectees The Joint Qualification Board is a new concept to prequalify personnel as ready to fill a key leadership position (KLP) so that when a position is announced for hire or selection, there will be qualified candidates at the ready. Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (USD(AT&L)) Frank Kendall identified the chief developmental tester KLP as the first KLP to pilot the Joint Qualification Board process.
