Mission

Perform Human Resource Management functions and tasks to support the Direct Reporting Unit’s (DRU) civilian and military workforce.

Key Functions

  • Perform DRU HR civilian and military personnel management functions for the USAASC.
  • Develop, promulgate, implement and evaluate policies, procedures and programs as they relate to HR management for the program executive offices (PEOs) and other DRU elements.
  • Provide personnel management expertise in the development of Acquisition Career Management policies and programs.

Vision

USAASC G-1 is a team of HR professionals dedicated to using core HR competencies in manning the force, providing first-class HR services, coordinating personnel support to the DRU, HQ USAASC and HQ ASAALT, and conducting HR planning and operations across the Army’s Acquisition PEOs.
