Acquisition NCO Leadership Course (ANLC)
Mode and Duration:
Resident: 1 Week
This phase is resident training with emphasis on leadership, verbal and written communication skills, training management, and common military skills for positions of great responsibility, as a Contingency Contracting Team NCOIC or Battalion Operations NCO, in both tactical and garrison-related duties. Your learning experience will be assessed by examination, and practical exercise.
Active Army or Reserve Component enlisted personnel SSG (P), SFC or MSG, selected by a Department of the Army selection board (Active Army) or recommended by unit commander (Reserve Component) qualified in MOS 51C. Meets requirements outlined in AR 350-1, AR 600-9, AR 351-4, AR 614-200 Chapter 4 and DA PAM 611-21. All Students must meet the physical fitness standard and height & weight standard or meet the physical qualification with a waiver according to AR 40-501. A minimum of one year operational contracting experience is required.
Must have a secret security-level clearance.
Acquisition NCO Leadership Course (ANLC) curriculum consists of a full dress inspection of the Army Service Uniform (ASU). Students must wear their Army Service Uniform in accordance with AR 670-1, to include the Army Blue Coat; Trousers for males and Slacks for females; a long-sleeved White Shirt (winter) or a Short-sleeved White Shirt (summer); Black Tie for males and Black Neck Tab for female Soldiers. Students are required to wear their Black Beret and Black low quarter Shoes. All other accessories and insignia authorized for wear with the old Class “A” service uniform, are authorized for wear on the ASU. If you currently have the old style (Green) Class “A” uniform, it will be accepted until the wear out date. Date and time of the inspection will be determined upon arrival at SLC.
