Communications

Mission

The Communications Division provides direction and oversight for establishing, implementing, executing, maintaining and measuring an effective, efficient, consistent and comprehensive approach to communicating the vision and mission of the Army Acquisition Corps (AAC) within the acquisition community and across the entire Army. The Division develops and manages all Acquisition Support Center (USAASC) outreach communications efforts and branding strategy, providing the necessary message synergy and interconnectivity with other Army elements to include programs, products, program management offices, program executive offices, operational units and Warfighters.

The Communications Division plans, creates, establishes and communicates a positive branding experience for the AAC, USAASC and Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce (AL&T Workforce). In addition, the Division works directly with the Army Acquisition Executive, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics & Technology, to publish Army AL&T Magazine, ensuring that the desired philosophy, operational goals and content are in consonance with official Army policy and AAC’s vision, mission and brand. Army AL&T Magazine, a quarterly hardcopy professional development publication, and Access AL&T, a monthly online publication, are published to instruct AL&T Workforce members on processes, procedures, techniques and management philosophy, and disseminate other information pertinent to their professional development.

The Division also provides senior leadership briefing/production support, Web site design and content, and coordinates USAASC participation in conferences and tradeshows.
