Removal of 24 Month of Experience Requirement for the Army Intermediate Contracting Course

DACM Memorandum: Removes the requirements for Functional Area 51 (FA51) and 51C Non-commissioned Officers to have 24 months of operational contracting experience or obtain a waiver for this experience in order to attend the Army Intermediate Contracting Course (AICC). However, they are still required to be Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I certified in Contracting before they attend AICC. This guidance is effective immediately.
