Acquisition certification standards are published annually and maintained on the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) website. The DAU Interactive Catalog (iCatalog) (https://icatalog.dau.edu/) is the official source of certification standards. AAW professionals should first consult the iCatalog to ensure they are taking the training needed for certification in their Functional Area, since the certification standards may change at the start of each new fiscal year or even at any point during the current fiscal year. They should then continue to take courses required for certification. The DACM Office strongly recommends that AAW professionals apply for certification as soon as they meet the education, training, and experience requirements that are in effect at the time of application.
