The Contracting Functional Integrated Team led by OSD(AS&S) Defense Pricing and Contracting with composition from subject matter experts from across the Services and Defense Agencies determined that the Contracting certification should focus on core competencies and a single level of certification that would note the professional is initially ready to fill a contracting position in DoD.
