FORT BELVOIR, VA. (July 28, 2025) — Ten Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW) professionals were selected from the Fiscal Year 2026 Product Director (PD) Centralized Selection Boards (CSB) held June 23–28, 2024, at the Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
The PD concept is to centrally select high performing, high potential Army acquisition civilian program management personnel at the GS-14 or broadband equivalent level to serve in PD positions within the program executive office (PEO) structure. The Director, Acquisition Career Management (DACM) Office’s objective is to direct personnel assignments within the PEOs to facilitate the placement of these selected civilian personnel in PD positions. This central management of civilian PDs is a core tenant of the civilian talent management concept.
On May 28, a Talent Management Board of Directors (TM BoD) met to slate 10 positions for the newly selected PD. Lt. Gen. Robert M. Collins, principal military deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology presided over the board consisting of Mr. Ronald R. Richardson, Jr., DACM, the 12 PEOs and the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office.
The board approved ten PDs, for assignment starting Spring/Summer 2026. Congratulations to the following slated individuals:

The Fiscal Year 2027 Product Director Board was held June 9 –13, 2025, with results release anticipated in the Spring of 2026. The Fiscal Year 2028 Product Director announcement will open in February of 2026.
