The results of the FY17 Civilian Product Director and Project Director Board are coming soon! The Talent Management Board of Directors met Feb. 24 and recommended the FY17 product director (GS-14) and FY17 project director (GS-15) slate for approval by the Army Director, Acquisition Career Management (DACM). Tentative slating is scheduled for release in mid-March. There are 15 product director positions and one project director position for FY17.

Defense Acquisition University (DAU) is rolling out a new and improved .mil portal with a new look and feel. It will be released in three phases: Phase I was launched in February, Phase II will be launched in late FY17, and Phase III will be released in mid FY18).  Check it out at www.dau.mil.

Enterprise Talent Management (ETM) and Senior ETM programs prepare Army senior civilians (GS-12 through GS-15 or equivalent) to assume positions of greater responsibility across the department. The application window for FY18 opportunities will be open until May 15, and a complete list of programs is located on the SETM website under SETM/ETM Policy at https://www.csldo.army.mil/. Find about the Senior Service College equivalent program that’s tailored specifically for the civilian Army Acquisition Workforce. The DAU Senior Service College Fellowship is offered in Warren, Michigan; Huntsville, Alabama; and Aberdeen, Maryland. The Army DACM Office is pleased to announce the YG 2018 offering of the Defense Civilian Emerging Leader Program for acquisition civilians. This development program combines classroom learning, guest speakers, group projects, mentoring and simulations to build executive core competencies.
