DACM Memorandum: Establishes policy for the certification of Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW) professionals. It also provide guidance to ensure the Army DACM Office’s certification request, decision and appeal processes are applied consistently across the Army acquisition community. This policy applies to military (Active Component, Army National Guard (ARNG) and US Army Reserve (USAR)) and civilian AAW professionals, as well as US Army Medical Department (AMEDD) officers with the Additional Skill Identifier (ASI) “8X”, who are seeking DAWIA certification at any level.
