Do I need to take the common core class if I took ALC in my previous MOS?

No. You will not need to retake the common core class. However, you will still need to complete the Army Acquisition Transition Course and Army Contract Writing Lab at The Army Acquisition School (TAAS) – USAASC) for MOS conversion to 51C.
