If individual does not pass the PM exam, do they have to retake any training?

AAW professionals who fail the required Program Management (PM) Certification Exam (PMT 4890V for Practitioner level or PMT 4990V for Advanced level) and have not already taken the PM Exam Prep Course for this level (PMT 4800V or PMT4810 for Practitioner, or PMT 4900V or PMT4910 for Advanced), will be required to successfully complete the appropriate PM exam prep course (PMT 4800V or PMT 4900V) before they can apply again to take the PM exam. Individuals who fail the PM certification exam may re-take the exam no earlier than 30 days after the preceding attempt, with no more than three attempts in a 12-month period.
