FORT BELVOIR, Va. (Oct. 10, 2019) – Two GS-15 candidates from the Army Acquisition Corps were selected from the Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) project director (PD) centralized selection board held July 29 – Aug. 2, 2019, at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Entering its sixth year of execution, the civilian-only centrally selected PD board is the cornerstone talent management initiative for identifying high-performing, high-potential civilians who possess leadership potential to fill civilian PD positions commensurate with their military counterparts.
Since the initial launch of a pilot program in 2015, the PD program has distinguished itself as the Director, Army Acquisition Corps’ benchmark talent management effort to grow centrally-selected civilian product and project managers.
The slating for the project director positions will be announced in February 2020.
