nvesting in innovative and operationally relevant science and technology (S&T) and long-term sustainment planning are key components of Army modernization. Te Army’s Acquisition Lessons Learned Portal (ALLP) offers a wealth of valuable lessons that span the acquisition life cycle, from transitioning S&T products to pro-
grams of record (PORs) to planning for sustainment and program termination. Following is a sample of these lessons from opposite ends of the acquisition spectrum, with the correspond- ing lesson learned (LL) reference numbers.
