ALL ARMY ACQUISITION WORKFORCE PROFESSIONALS!
ANNUAL ACQUISITION ETHICS TRAINING REQUIREMENT
As the end of the fiscal year approaches, please remember that all Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW) Members have an annual ethics training requirement.
All AAW members must complete annual acquisition ethics training by 30 September. The enclosure of the DACM Office’s Ethics Training Policy provides more information about online or in-person acquisition ethics training options that meet the fiscal year 2025 requirement. This list of training options is not all inclusive or exhaustive—other ethics training may fulfill this requirement.
A critical step that AAW professionals should keep in mind: you must document the training completion on your Individual Development Plan (IDP) in the Total Employee Development (TED) system or CAPPMIS. The IDP is the official tracking mechanism that the Army DACM Office uses to track ethics training completion. If AAW professionals do not record their ethics training completion on their IDP in TED or CAPPMIS, then when the DACM Office sends the end of fiscal year reports to the commands or organizations and these individuals will show as non-compliant.
Ethics training is one of the DACM’s AAW Standards that is tracked and reported to acquisition leadership across the enterprise. The fiscal year 2025 DACM Standards Memo can be found on the DACM Policy Library website: FY25 AAW Standards Memorandum.

CONTINUOUS LEARNING REQUIREMENT
Watch those points! Army Acquisition Workforce professionals are required to achieve 80 continuous learning points (CLPs) between Oct. 1, 2024, and Sept. 30, 2026. Actively taking part in continuous learning within your acquisition functional area is a required standard and ensures AAW professionals remain current in their functional area, cross-functional proficiencies, leadership and management skills. This continuous learning policy applies to all military and civilian AAW professionals and can be accessed here. The DACM Policy Library has the latest acquisition position standards here.
Each acquisition functional area (AFA) has its recommended continuous learning guidance as directed by its respective Army Acquisition Functional Leader. To see your specific AFA recommended continuous learning, go to the functional areas page and click on your functional area.

Recommended continuous learning point glidepath; the Army DACM recommends achieving 40 CLPs in the first year of the CLP cycle and earning the remaining 40 CLPs during the cycle’s second year.

SENIOR RATER POTENTIAL EVALUATION REQUIREMENT
The Senior Rater Potential Evaluation (SRPE) is a valuable talent management tool that, as a member of the AAW, you must complete. SRPEs are used to evaluate the potential of every civilian acquisition professional, at the GS-12 through GS-15 or broadband equivalent level. This tool is vital in assessing future potential for positions of greater responsibility and centrally selected professional development opportunities. Exceptions to the SRPE requirement do not preclude that applicants must submit a current SRPE to be eligible for Army DACM Office centrally selected leader development programs.
The annual SRPE season arrives soon and fiscal year 2025 SRPEs will be released to the acquisition workforce and ready for your action. For an overview and details about policy, guidance, FAQs, manuals and best practices, go to https://asc.army.mil/web/senior-rater-potential-evaluation.
