Chamberlain, director for Army Bud- get, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller), Washington, to military deputy for Budget, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptrol- ler), Washington.


Maj. Gen. David C. Hill, deputy chief of engineers, deputy commanding general, United States Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, to com- mandant, United States Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Pennsyl- vania.


PROMOTIONS The following general officers were promoted to the rank indicated below in June and July 2021:


Gen. Charles A. Flynn, currently serving as commanding general, Unit- ed States Army Pacific, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.


Maj. Gen. James J. Gallivan, currently serving as commanding gen- eral, United States Army Test and Evaluation Command, Aberdeen Prov- ing Ground, Maryland.


Maj. Gen. Allan M. Pepin, currently serving as commanding general, Military District of Washington and commander, Joint Force Headquar- ters-National Capital Region, Washington.


Brig. Gen. Gavin J. Gardner, currently serving as commanding general, Joint Munitions and Lethality, Life Cycle Management Command/Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Illinois.


Brig. Gen. Eric D. Little, currently serving as commanding general, White Sands Missile Range, and deputy commanding general for Devel- opmental Testing, United States Army Test and Evaluation Command, White Sands, New Mexico.


RETIREMENTS Maj. Gen. Peter A. Gallagher completed 38 years of service and concluded his distinguished career as director of the Future Army Net- work Cross-Functional Team, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, later Aberdeen Prov- ing Ground, Maryland.
