Iraqi security forces receive a shipment of more than 70 up-armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles at Camp Taji, Iraq, in June, part of 150 Humvees acquired through FMS to assist in the fight against the self-described Islamic State. The 310th Advise and Assist Team, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) and the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) supervised receipt of the vehicles in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. In addition to helping partner nations with their own security, such sales obviate the need for expensive mothballing or storage of unneeded equipment. (Photo by CPT A.
